Robert “Bubba” McDaniel, known as “The Menace,” is a seasoned warrior whose life story is one of resilience, redemption, and raw toughness. Hailing from Wichita Falls, Texas, and born inChildress, Bubba earned his nickname from the rough life he led as a young man—a background that shaped his fierce and methodical approach to fighting.Standing 6’3” and fighting out of a southpaw stance, he brings intensity and purpose into every battle. With a combat sports journey that began in 2002 through toughman contests, Bubba has continued to push boundaries and test himself against some of the sport’s toughest competitors.

With a professional MMA record of 35-12, Bubba is a veteran of elite promotions like the UFC, Bellator, EliteXC, and The Ultimate Fighter. He also holds a 2-1 pro kickboxing record and debuted in bare knuckle boxing in 2022 against Chris Camozzi. Trained by MikeRojas and Mike Zapata at Rival Boxing Gym and Amped MMA in Wichita Falls, Bubba brings a wealth of experience and a dangerous left straight to the ring. After fighting his MMA retirement bout in 2023, his path took a tragic turn when he survived a shooting just months later. Despite these challenges, Bubba has continued his pursuit of the fight game, determined to prove that there’s still gas left in the tank.

Outside of fighting, Bubba is a dedicated father and a man of faith, working at a glass factory and coaching fitness while cherishing time with his children—Emma, Bryan, and Phoenix.
