Jesse Ronson, known in combat sports circles as 'The Body Snatcher,' earned his nickname by stopping three opponents with body shot KOs in the first round—over the course of just three days—to win the Ontario Provincial Boxing Championships. Born on December 24, 1985, in London, Ontario, Canada, Ronson stands 5’10” and fights as a southpaw. Representing his hometown of London, he trains under Brad Fowler and Ross Mylet with Team Adrenaline. Jesse brings to the ring a precision-based, pressure-heavy style characterized by power, accuracy, durability, and ring management. Though BKB 46 marks his official debut in bare knuckle boxing, Ronson is no stranger to the combat arena. He boasts a professional MMA record of 28-12-1 and a 2-0 pro kickboxing record.
Ronson’s last two competitive outings took place under the Gamebred Bare Knuckle MMA banner—both first-round finishes—securing his position as the #1 contender for their 170 lb world title. His résumé includes numerous championships such as AMFN, AFC, BTC, Samurai MMA, and a rare double-title reign in TKO MMA (155 & 170 lbs). A decorated amateur, he also holds titles in Canadian kickboxing and provincial boxing. Ronson describes his style as 'precision devastation with relentless pressure,' and believes BKB presents a fresh start and a chance to showcase his boxing-first skill set. His ultimate goals include becoming Canada’s first bare knuckle world champion and securing financial stability through his career in fighting.
Outside the ring, Jesse enjoys training in all areas of combat—boxing, BJJ, wrestling, and kickboxing—as well as computer gaming and spending time with his wife Marlena and their three dogs.
