Monica “Fearless” Franco is a versatile and seasoned bare knuckle fighter with a deep-rooted passion for martial arts. Originally from Waianae, Hawaii and now fighting out of Orem, Utah, Monica earned her nickname from a former coach who admired her unwavering attitude in the ring. She stands 5’6” and switches stances with ease, adapting her style to each matchup. With a bare knuckle record of 1-1, Monica blends composure with calculated aggression, often timing blitz attacks off sharp angles to control the pace of a fight.
A lifelong martial artist, Monica began her journey at 15 and found new inspiration after watching Gina Carano and Tonya Evinger battle in Hawaiʻi. Her amateur MMA career saw her go 8-5, followed by a 2-1 professional run, alongside additional experience in Invicta FC and BKFC. Trained by Marco Hardjono and Kani Correa, she continues to evolve with a team too large to name. Monica views every fight as a learning opportunity and remains committed to improving all aspects of her craft—from head movement to conditioning and guard variation. Her recent split decision win over Khortni Kamyron showcased both her technical ability and mental toughness.
Outside the ring, Monica stays grounded by spending time with her ohana and gym family. She finds joy in dancing, singing, and doing everyday activities like hiking and going to the movies. Influenced by her family and sports icons like Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady, Monica channels those inspirations into her training and fight career. Her ultimate goal is to earn a title shot in BKB, a promotion she admires for its professionalism and authenticity. Franco enters each bout with heart, honor, and gratitude—ready to prove that she belongs among the best.
