Tommy “The Samurai” Turner is a battle-hardened bare knuckle boxer whose ferocious pressure-fighting style has earned him both respect and fear in the ring. Born in Ontario, Oregon and raised in Payette, Idaho—by way of Weiser—Tommy was originally known for his prowess on the football field, where his nickname "The Samurai" was first forged. When football scholarships slipped away, Turner turned his attention fully to combat sports, eventually becoming an elite amateur competitor across multiple disciplines. With a diverse background that includes an undefeated 31-0 amateur boxing record, 13-1 in amateur Muay Thai, and 18-5in amateur MMA, his combat pedigree speaks volumes. Standing 5'11" with an orthodox stance and known for his agility, athleticism, and power, Tommy is now a seasoned 37-year-old warrior with a professional fighting career that spans both gloved and bare knuckle arenas.

In the world of Bare KnuckleBoxing (BKB), Turner holds a 2-2 record, including hard-fought wins over Henry Williams and Mitchel Seybold. A two-time BKB title contender and Hall of Fame Award winner, Tommy has proven himself on some of the sport’s biggest stages his only losses coming to two of the sports best – LT Nelson and Barrie Jones.  Turner relies on his high-pressure, boxer-brawler approach to overwhelm opponents. He’s been ranked as high as #12in the world in amateur MMA (2006) and has continued to chase greatness through grit and resilience, never backing down from a challenge.

Outside the ring, Turner is a devoted family man who enjoys the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping, and coaching his children's sports teams. Married to his wife Nina and father to Braxton, Terran, and Jozie, Tommy balances the intensity of fight preparation with the joys of family life. To him, fighting in BKB isn’t just another competition—it’s home. Inspired by legendary fighters like Arturo Gatti, Joe Calzaghe, and Jake LaMotta, Turner fights with heart, pride, and purpose. "The Samurai” is on a mission to achieve his ultimate goal: becoming a BKB world champion.
