On Saturday, June 21, BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing made history when it hosted BKB 42: Music City Brawl at The Pinnacle. The event was the first live professional bare knuckle boxing event hosted in Tennessee since the state legalized the sport in March of this year.
In the night's main event, the undisputed king of the Trigon, 2-division world champion LT Nelson, avenged the only blemish on his career in spectacular fashion finishing Sam Liera in the first round to retain his BKB Super Middleweight title.
Javon Wright was successful in the first title defense of his Welterweight title, defeating Carlos Guerra by unanimous decision after six rounds.
Jamie Driver defeated Helen Peralta in their BKB Super Lightweight Eliminator matchup by unanimous decision.
"Hurricane" Ike Villanueva improved to 4-2 and spoiled Eric Olsen’s return to the Trigon with a first round TKO.
“The Emperor" Marko Martinjak continued his bare knuckle reign with a first round knockout of Maurice Morris.
Jarome Hatch outlasted Cody East in a bloody battle winning by Doctor’s Stoppage in the fourth round.
Luis Guerrero kicked off the main card with a second round knockout of Luis Morales.
