PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania - BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing, the world’s leading and fastest-growing professional bare knuckle organization, today announced the signing of former world title challenger Henry “Hammerin’ Hank” Lundy to a multi-fight agreement.
One of the toughest and most respected veterans of the modern boxing era, Lundy brings an accomplished résumé, championship pedigree, and a fearless fighting style that many believe is tailor-made for BKB’s patented Mighty Trigon—the smallest fighting surface in combat sports. His signing continues BKB’s momentum in attracting elite boxing talent to the fastest-growing discipline in combat sports, following recent additions including Victor Ortiz, Amado and Fernando Vargas, Jr., Alfredo Angulo, Joseph “JoJo” Diaz, Jr., and Lee Selby.
A Philadelphia native, Lundy compiled a professional boxing record of 32-14-1 with 14 knockouts across nearly two decades competing against some of the sport’s biggest names. Standing 5-foot-7, Lundy fought primarily at lightweight before moving to super lightweight, building a reputation as one of boxing’s most durable and entertaining competitors.
Lundy earned a shot at the WBO Super Lightweight World Championship against pound-for-pound great Terence Crawford in 2016 at Madison Square Garden before rebounding later that year to capture the vacant UBF Lightweight Championship. Throughout his career he also held the WBO NABO Lightweight, NABF Lightweight, WBC Silver Lightweight, and WBC Silver Super Lightweight titles.
Before turning professional, Lundy enjoyed an exceptional amateur career, posting a 65-5 record while winning the Pennsylvania Golden Gloves Championship, earning Outstanding Boxer honors at the USA Boxing Middle Atlantic Association Tournament, capturing regional championships, and claiming a silver medal at the National Golden Gloves.
Known throughout boxing as one of the sport’s ultimate road warriors, Lundy never shied away from elite competition, sharing the ring with world champions and top contenders including Crawford, Viktor Postol, Thomas Dulorme, Mauricio Herrera, Ray Beltran, John Molina Jr., Richar Abril, and David Diaz.
“I’ve spent my entire career proving I’m willing to fight anybody, anywhere,” said Lundy. “That’s exactly what BKB is about. No excuses, no hiding, just fighting. The Trigon rewards real fighters, and that’s what I’ve always been. I’m excited to start this new chapter and chase another championship in the purest form of boxing.”
BKB CEO David Tetreault welcomed Lundy to the promotion: “Hank Lundy is exactly the type of competitor who thrives in BKB. He’s fearless, experienced, incredibly durable, and has spent his entire career taking on the very best. Fans know when Hank steps into the ring they’re going to get an all-action fight, and we believe his style is perfectly suited for the intensity of the Mighty Trigon. He is one of those Philadelphia fighters that lives, breathes, and embodies the legendary fighting spirit that the city is renowned for, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to the BKB family.”
BKB Founder Mike Vazquez added: “Hank represents everything we value in BKB—heart, toughness, professionalism, and a willingness to test yourself against anyone. His resume speaks for itself, but what excites us most is the mentality he brings every time he competes. Our fans appreciate fighters who leave everything in the Trigon, and Hank Lundy has built an entire career doing exactly that.”
Lundy’s BKB debut opponent and event details will be announced in the coming weeks.
